Join us for a wonderful, spiritual, Twestival event with over 185 cities ‘round the world!

The LivingJoy Network is hosting a free charity event for Charity:Water on Thursday February 12th, 2009.  This event is coordinated with over 185 other cities worldwide through Twitter, the social networking site.  The Twestival is the first global event coordinated on Twitter.  Twestival is organized 100% by volunteers around the world and 100% of the money raised from these events will go directly to support Charity:Water projects.

Our goal is to raise more than money, it is to raise Spirit. To raise our spirits, and also to raise the Spirit of Water to help all those on the planet who need clean water.  Charity:Water raises money to build wells and bring fresh water to the underdeveloped nations around the world to don’t have clean water to drink.  Right now 1.1 billion people on the planet don’t have access to safe, clean drinking water. That’s one in six of us. 80% of all disease on the planet is attributable to the lack of water and basic sanitation!

By rallying together globally right now, for a single aim on the same day, the Twestival hopes to raise $500,000 for Charity: Water and bring awareness to this global crisis. $20 can give one person clean water for 20 years.

Schedule of Events

5:30pm We begin to gather at the beach in Boca Raton, at Spanish River (40th Street) and A1A. Park your car on Spanish River and come straight out to the beach.

6pm An invocation of the Spirit of the Ocean.

In the spirit of Gratitude, Grace, and Generosity, we thank water for its many blessings, we receive water, and seek to share water with all who need it.  Please join us for this invocation of spirit, and this vocation of generosity supporting Charity:Water.
